Senior Power Distribution Engineer

Description Join our team as a Senior Design Engineer supporting critical utility distribution projects, including storm hardening, pole replacement, and system upgrades. Primarily remote with limited travel. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations. Collaborate with designers, drafters, clients, and internal teams to complete accurate design packages. Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity. Support project coordination by communicating scope, cost, schedule, and quality considerations. Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures, including quality control and documentation standards. Conduct peer reviews, perform self-checks, and deliver accurate work with minimal errors. Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements. Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration. Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university 3+ years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution Knowledge of software's BOUD, Maximo Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment What We Offer: A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
