Key Responsibilities • Lead UX design across the full product development cycle, from concept to visual and interaction design • Use concepts and prototypes to communicate design ideas and advocate for the best user experience • Turn user insights into human-centered solutions through regular evaluation of product usability with customers and stakeholders • Take full ownership of design from initial prototype to final implementation, proactively identifying and resolving challenges • Engage directly with customers for validation and insights, skillfully translating those insights into user-friendly designs • Stay ahead of industry trends, actively grow your skills, and share knowledge across teams and R&D units Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in design or proven equivalent experience in the field 2–5+ years of proven experience as a product designer Expert proficiency in Figma and demonstrated experience working with design systems Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Experience evaluating and validating product usability with customers to enhance products and processes Meet your colleagues several times per week in a modern office in Rotterdam Preferred • Knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, and AI Agents • Experience designing components for a design system • Background in designing software development tools or sophisticated products • Experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Figma Design Agent, or equivalent Why Us At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. Our Benefits & Rewards The salary range for this position is 69,100 to 100,000. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
