Is this job info correct?

About Ferocia Ferocia is a team of more than 300 people building better financial experiences for Australians. As the digital division of Bendigo Bank , our work spans Up , a digital bank; Connect, the platform powering Bendigo Bank’s web and mobile banking; and tools that make managing money simpler and help protect people from scams and fraud. Our shared purpose: helping people feel more confident and in control of their money. Sound like something you’d like to be part of? We’d love to hear from you. The role We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help establish and shape the future of Business & Agri banking across the Bendigo Bank app and web experience. Our designers wear many hats and own work from end to end, from identifying opportunities and shaping direction, through to designing, shipping and evolving products. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering and stakeholders across Bendigo Bank to help solve complex problems and create better banking experiences for our customers. So on a normal day, you could be: Finding opportunities worth pursuing: working with product managers, engineers, customer-facing teams and stakeholders across Bendigo to better understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and help define which problems are worth solving. Making sense of complex problems: helping teams navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and constraints to build alignment and move forward with confidence. Designing connected experiences: using strong systems thinking to balance customer needs, business goals and technical realities, and create experiences that feel connected. Influencing product direction: working closely with Product, Engineering and leadership teams to shape roadmaps, influence decisions and contribute to where the product and team go next. Delivering high-quality outcomes: collaborating closely with engineers to ensure ideas are translated into thoughtful, high-quality experiences that create value for customers and the business. What we're looking for Experience leading product work from discovery through delivery: with at least 5 years working with product teams, ideally within digital products, SaaS or financial services. We’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between discovery, shaping and delivery, and knows when each is needed. Strong product thinking and problem-solving skills: the ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and help teams focus on the problems that matter most. You’re comfortable balancing customer value, business goals and technical realities when making decisions. Systems thinking: the ability to understand how products, processes, people and tech interact, and to design solutions that work across multiple systems, touchpoints, and teams. Collaboration and influence: strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders. You’re comfortable bringing people together around a shared understanding of problems and opportunities, and influencing decisions through evidence, reasoning, and collaboration. Comfort operating in ambiguity: we’re looking for someone who can create momentum when things aren’t fully defined, navigate competing priorities, and help teams move from uncertainty to action. Craft and execution: strong interaction design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas into thoughtful, high-quality experiences. You care about the quality of what gets shipped, as much as the quality of the ideas behind it. A growth mindset: curiosity, humility, and a desire to keep learning. We value people who care deeply about their craft, enjoy tackling difficult problems, and are motivated by building products that genuinely help customers. Interview process More details will be provided on application, but all applicants will go through the same stages: Intro chat and career review with Emy (Design Manager) or Sylvain (Head of Design) — 30min Presentation of 2-3 case studies to Emy (Design Manager), Sylvain (Head of Design) and another member of the Product Design team, for a deep dive into your work, experience, and your approach — 60min Interview with a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering) including a short case study and a critique of an app of your choice, to understand how you think and get a feel for what it would be like working together — 60min References check Offer! When applying, make sure to attach a portfolio or provide a link to an online portfolio (including any needed passwords) to demonstrate your skills and some examples of work you’ve produced. Working at Ferocia We work flexibly, with genuine autonomy over where and when you do your best work. Ferocians can use our Melbourne CBD office as much or as little as makes sense for them. We also value spending time together face to face, with teams making time to meet in person when it matters. That’s why we’re currently only hiring people based in Naarm/Melbourne and surrounding areas . Here’s some of what you can expect: Smart, passionate people who care about what they make. Generous leave and parental policies. Flexibility and genuine autonomy over your time. A great CBD office with a rooftop, gym and personal trainer. A budget for personal development, training and conferences. An Employee Assistance Program. Home loan rebates (conditions apply). Ongoing bonus and equity grants (conditions apply). Unsure if you tick every box? Throw your hat in the ring anyway. We value different experiences and perspectives, so we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement. You might be just who we’re looking for.
