About ReelBook

ReelBook is building a next-generation social discovery mobile platform combining short-form content, location discovery, local businesses, recommendations, messaging, and user engagement.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who has directly designed social-media, social-discovery, or content-driven consumer mobile applications.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must meet all the following requirements:

• 6+ years of product design or UI/UX experience
• Proven experience designing consumer mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Direct experience designing a social-media, social-discovery, creator, community, or content-sharing app
• Strong understanding of social features such as feeds, short-form video, profiles, following, comments, messaging, notifications, sharing, engagement, and content discovery
• Portfolio containing relevant social or content-driven mobile-app work
• At least 3 shipped or production-ready consumer mobile products
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, components, variables, auto layout, libraries, and interactive prototypes
• Experience creating and maintaining scalable mobile design systems
• Ability to design complete end-to-end user journeys—not only individual screens
• Strong UX, interaction-design, and premium visual-design skills
• Experience working closely with developers through handoff, implementation review, and UI quality assurance
• Ability to work independently and manage a large, complex mobile-app design project

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign ReelBook’s complete mobile experience
• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes
• Design social feeds, video discovery, profiles, search, chat, notifications, maps, check-ins, reviews, and business-discovery experiences
• Build a consistent and scalable design system
• Simplify complex journeys while maintaining a premium user experience
• Prepare developer-ready Figma files with clear components, states, specifications, and responsive behaviour
• Review implementation and help developers achieve pixel-accurate results

Portfolio Requirements

Your application must include a working portfolio link demonstrating:

• Social-media, social-discovery, creator, community, or content-sharing mobile apps
• Complete mobile-product case studies and user flows
• Feed, profile, messaging, discovery, recommendation, or engagement features
• High-quality consumer mobile UI
• Your specific role and contribution to each project
• Products that were shipped, launched, or prepared for production

Important Note:Generic websites, dashboards, graphic-design projects, or portfolios without relevant consumer mobile-app work will not be considered.
