As a Product Manager, you ensure that products fulfill their primary purpose: to enable users to perform tasks that create value for the company. In this role, you will have two broad areas of responsibility: Setting the strategic vision for the product to ensure the customer and their needs are at the center. Define and drive product visions with measurable business impact, leveraging scientific knowledge to align IT product strategy with R&D goals. Detect risks and gaps during development cycles and help design mitigation strategies to ensure the team meets product objectives. Who You Are You hold a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics); a Ph.D. is highly desirable. You have several years of experience as a Product Manager or Requirements Engineer in an agile environment, ideally in scientific or R&D domains. You demonstrate excellent leadership skills and show entrepreneurial behavior in your daily work. You bring extensive hands-on experience in scientific work and are familiar with the processes in research and development. Experience at the interfaces between science, engineering, and IT is a plus. You have strong experience with agile and lean principles and bring practical expertise in requirement engineering and designing digital products. You are deeply familiar with research workflows, scientific problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration. You are resilient, comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, and approach challenges from multiple perspectives. You exhibit a high level of motivation, commitment, and sense of ownership. You are proficient in English (spoken and written); German skills are an advantage.
