We’re a small, fast-moving team with a mission to help 1 billion people speak English clearly and advance their careers. The Role We’re looking for our first Product hire who will own BoldVoice’s product end-to-end. This is not a “write PRDs” role. This is deep ownership of the user experience: what appears in the app, the learning flow, the AI interactions, and the features that move our business. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with engineering, design, and ML, driving features from insight into the hands of users. This is an ideal role for a PM (or ex-founder) with 5-8 years of experience who has strong product taste, impeccable UX instincts, and a bias for fast execution. You’ll shape a product that millions interact with, and you’ll ship real user value without layers of process or slow decision cycles. This role is fully in-person in our NoHo office. What You’ll Do Own BoldVoice’s product experience end-to-end across mobile and web Identify user problems rapidly and articulate clear, sharp product direction Work directly with designer to create intuitive, elegant, consumer-grade UX Partner with engineers and ML/speech team to ship impactful features quickly Prototype concepts (Figma, quick tools, lightweight user tests) to validate ideas Leverage existing analytics (Mixpanel, A/B testing) to find insights and drive decisions Roll up your sleeves to unblock progress, whether that’s user interviews, pulling data, writing copy, or spinning up small scrappy tests Ensure that AI-powered experiences feel natural, helpful, and user-centric Shape onboarding, engagement loops, learning flows, and core product surfaces Collaborate with the CEO on long-term product vision while executing quickly day-to-day Act as the connective tissue across design, engineering, ML, content, and leadership Build features that delight users and directly improve learning outcomes, retention, and growth What You Bring 5–10+ years of product experience OR ex-founder with strong product chops A portfolio of shipped features in consumer apps (mobile preferred) A deep sense of product taste and UX intuition A bias to action: fast, decisive, comfortable shipping and iterating Ability to simplify complexity and turn it into intuitive user experiences Comfort working closely with engineers, designers, ML teams, and leadership Strong analytical instincts; can self-serve insights via Mixpanel + A/B tools Humility and willingness to do whatever is needed (user research, quick testing, ops tasks) Clear, direct communication and strong ownership mindset Ability to run lightweight prototypes or scrappy experiments Experience in early-stage startups or building 0→1 Understanding of LLM/AI product patterns Plus: experience in AI apps, consumer subscriptions, or speech/voice AI What Success Looks Like in 3 Months You’ve improved core UX flows with measurable engagement impact You’ve become the expert of BoldVoice users and their behaviors You’re the person the team relies on to move product from idea → shipped The product is materially better because of your taste, iteration speed, and insight Compensation & Perks Salary: $150,000–$200,000 depending on experience and seniority Equity: Own a real piece of BoldVoice’s success A+ Team: Join a small and mighty team where your work has immediate impact Mission : Empower millions of immigrants and non-native speakers to speak English with confidence We’d love to hear from you: please fill out this form to apply.
