Senior Product Manager (m/f/d)

About Lano Lano is a global payroll platform enabling companies to standardize and manage multi-country payroll operations through a unified technology layer. Your Role We are looking for a Senior Product Manager (m/f/d) to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of AI-native features and smart automation across Lano’s product suite. In this role, you will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and data science to transform how international workforce operations are handled. Please note: This is a hybrid position based at our office in Berlin, Germany. Main tasks: Form AI Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution for AI-native features and smart automation across Lano's product suite. Identify High-Impact AI Use Cases: Uncover operational friction in global payroll and HR workflows (e.g., automated document parsing, payroll anomaly detection, smart data normalization, AI agent workflows) and translate them into scalable product features. Cross-Functional Execution: Work tightly with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Operations to prioritize, build, ship, and iterate on high-quality features. Customer & Market Discovery: Deeply understand user personas (HR leaders, payroll ops, finance teams) through continuous user research, customer feedback, and market analysis. Define & Measure Impact: Track key product metrics (feature adoption, task automation rate, user retention) to ensure features drive bottom-line impact and customer value. Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless rollouts, clear documentation, and enablement. Your profile: Product Management Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, shipping customer-facing digital products. Practical AI Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of applying AI/ML technologies (LLMs, NLP, structured data extraction, AI agents) to solve real business or workflow problems. Analytical & Solution-Oriented: Highly structured thinker with an ability to simplify complex data workflows and make data-informed decisions. Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany (Hybrid setup at our Berlin HQ). Communication: Exceptional written and spoken business English. Nice to Have: Payroll or HR Tech Domain: Experience or strong familiarity with global payroll, HR Tech, HRIS, or FinTech platforms.
