Significance is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. This position is remote and requires a Public Trust clearance. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for: Design and develop Web Application using Java (Spring Boot) Build and maintain backend services for: Profile management SSN lookup Data validation and synchronization Integrate with: AWS services (API Gateway, RDS, S3, messaging services) External authentication systems Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise and ATO standards Design scalable architecture and support: Error handling Logging Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integration strategies Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment Desired Skills: 7+ years of Java development experience Strong expertise in: Spring Boot / Spring Framework REST API development Experience with relational databases and SQL Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native development Strong understanding of application security and authentication mechanisms At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
