We empower renewable energy teams to accomplish in days what typically takes weeks. We care about doing meaningful work, delivering real value and results to our customers. We’re passionate about solving real problems by focusing on what truly matters. We’re passionate about our work, and we’re building products and services that our customers genuinely love and trust. We’re not afraid to think big and be bold, as we’re building not only a future we believe in but a workplace culture that we’re proud to be a part of. --- About The Role & Team We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to join our Project Controls Team — a group committed to developing and scaling Euclid’s project controls offerings across all clients and service lines. Euclid’s project controls services span development, pre-construction, financing, construction, hand-off to asset management, and M&A transactions. This individual will work closely with services leadership, the existing controls team, and cross-functional teams to support and execute our budget and schedule offerings while continuously looking for ways to add value. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the renewable energy industry, exceptional analytical skills across both cost and schedule disciplines, and a deep passion for the impact that rigorous project controls can have on project outcomes. What You’ll Do Cost Controls • Support cost control and budget tracking across a portfolio of solar PV and energy storage projects from C&I to utility-scale across all major US markets. • Monitor budgets against actuals, track committed costs, and flag variances to project teams and leadership. • Assist with cash flow forecasting by aligning cost data with project schedules and payment milestones. • Contribute to financing activities, draw cadence planning, and lender reporting as needed. • Support benchmarking exercises to identify cost trends and opportunities for savings. • Build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (project-level spend, commitments vs. actuals, forecast variance) to inform project managers and leadership. • Assist in assessing vendor change order requests and their potential budget impact. • Produce clear, concise reports and analyses to support decision-making and operational improvements. Schedule Controls • Support the development, maintenance, and administration of project master schedules across the portfolio. • Analyze schedules for risk and contribute to strategy sessions to identify solutions and mitigation paths. • Coordinate third-party schedule updates by participating in reporting cycles, evaluating schedule quality, and integrating updates into the master schedule. • Monitor critical path, track forecast variances, and surface key schedule risks to project and client teams. • Support schedule review meetings with project teams, contributing to collaborative discussions and timeline tracking. • Drive accurate cash flow forecasting through alignment of schedule milestones and budget data. • Assess vendor change order requests to evaluate their potential impact on project timelines. Cross-Functional & Platform Contributions • Serve as a responsive point of contact for project controls inquiries, interfacing with project clients, vendors, and internal teams as needed. • Actively contribute to enhancing project controls processes and procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness. • Support the design and continuous improvement of tools and workflows within Euclid’s platform to better serve project developers and investors. • Collaborate across the controls team and broader organization on ad-hoc analyses and continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred fields: engineering, project/operations/construction management, business management, economics, or finance. • Experience in renewable energy or adjacent industries (construction, manufacturing, utilities) strongly preferred. • Strong technical project controls acumen, with working knowledge of both cost and schedule disciplines. • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with an uncompromising commitment to data integrity and deliverable accuracy. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; clear and professional in client-facing and internal contexts. • Collaborative team player willing to roll up your sleeves and support a fast-growing company. • Proven ability to work independently in remote or asynchronous environments. • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and databases (Excel, Smartsheet), including data summarization, visualization, and formula/coding skills. • Self-motivated, proactive, and persistent in driving projects forward. Nice to Have • Experience using scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera). • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). • Deep expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and automation in Excel and/or Smartsheet. • Exposure to EPC contracting, construction finance, or lender reporting processes. What We Provide • Remote work, forever! • Competitive benchmarked compensation with equity award as part of your all-in package. • Health and retirement benefits (401K, health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays). • Flexible time off. • Multidisciplinary exposure and training across tax, legal, finance, diligence, engineering, energy storage, and more. • Exciting, mission-driven work with real industry impact. • Regular company offsites. • Exposure to high-profile, industry-leading clients, products, and technology across utility and commercial scale PV and BESS. Compensation The starting base salary for this role is between $100,000-$115,000 with an equity award as part of your all-in compensation. The actual base salary and equity are dependent upon many factors, such as location, experience, and internal compensation equity --- We are committed to building an inclusive working environment and doing our part to create a more equitable world.
