About you: Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential 10+ years as a Senior Engineer Must have electrical building services design experience within Data Centre engineering projects In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards Working knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantage Confident leading projects from the concept stage to completion Communicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers Manage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects Excellent Microsoft Office skills Your day-to-day activities: Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors Produce detailed schematics Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation Mentor junior engineering staff Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion Tender report/analysis/recommendations Develop project scope with the design team/client Confidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT Produce budgets and reports for clients Attend site visits Take lead on projects with minimal input from the management team Benefits: Flexible working times 20 Days holidays up to 25 days Pension Scheme Working travel out-of-pocket expenses Travel tax scheme or bike-to-work scheme Regular training/mentoring / further college support Support for Chartership Subsidised Health Insurance Allowance A Professional Subscription Fee paid by the company Paid Statutory Leaves Healthcare check-ups and flu vaccinations Gym / Fitness membership Heavily subsidised social committee (5 a side, golf society, climbing club and regular social events) Why Join Us?
