Senior Project Manager – ERP / SAP S/4HANA Transformation Contract Details Role: Senior Project Manager Start Date: 20 July 2026 Contract Duration: Until 31 December 2026 Workload: Full-time (100%) Location: Hybrid (Belgium) Remote Work: Yes Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to strengthen the leadership of a large-scale ERP transformation program. The project is currently in the testing phase of a SAP S/4HANA implementation and requires a hands-on leader capable of stabilizing delivery, improving governance, managing stakeholders, and driving the program back on track. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with operational execution while working closely with the existing project leadership team. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the complete testing phase of the ERP implementation. Review and improve test scripts, test scenarios, and overall testing approach. Coordinate testing activities across multiple business units and stakeholders. Ensure supplier deliverables meet agreed quality standards and contractual commitments. Stabilize the project through effective risk management and crisis resolution. Rebuild stakeholder confidence through clear and transparent communication. Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, scope, timelines, and quality. Manage suppliers, challenge delivery where necessary, and lead escalations. Develop realistic recovery plans with clear milestones and acceptance criteria. Improve governance, reporting, and project controls. Support organizational change management and implementation readiness. Coach and support the existing project manager while ensuring continuity of delivery. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager delivering infrastructure or transformation projects. Proven experience managing large ERP implementation projects, preferably SAP S/4HANA . Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK , or equivalent (certification preferred). Experience with project management practices including: Risk Management Issue Management Scope Management Planning Change Management Strong stakeholder management experience across business, IT, suppliers, and executive leadership. Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations. Excellent leadership, negotiation, mediation, and communication skills. Hands-on crisis management and project recovery experience. Strong analytical and structured approach to project governance. Experience with: MS Project Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) ITIL Preferred Experience Public sector or education sector experience. Experience with large organizational transformation programs. Supplier and vendor management. Quality assurance of testing, documentation, configurations, and business processes. Language Requirement Dutch: Native or CEFR Level C2 (Mandatory)
