JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Provides senior level project management support for low to moderately complex business and/or technology projects. Responsible for supporting all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout using standard project management methodologies and tools. Ensures alignment with business priorities and drives delivery of project outcomes. Essential Job Duties • Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, milestones, deliverables, resource needs, and dependencies. • Leads cross-functional teams in execution of project activities and ensures delivery of project objectives. • Monitors project progress and performance; identifies risks and issues and leads development and implementation of mitigation strategies. • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs); communicates project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at multiple levels. • Manages project scope, schedule, and change control processes, ensuring alignment with defined objectives. • Facilitates project governance activities, including status reviews, stakeholder meetings, and retrospectives, to support delivery and continuous improvement. • Ensures project documentation is maintained in accordance with established standards and practices. • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders; influences decision-making and supports resolution of complex issues. • Supports budget tracking and financial monitoring activities for assigned projects, as applicable. • Provides training and support to new and existing PMO project managers. Required Qualifications • At least 4 years of technical project management experience supporting business or technology initiatives, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, statistics, business, health care, engineering, etc. • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. • Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., project scheduling, work tracking, and collaboration tools). • Experience with project management concepts such as scope, schedule, budget, and risk management. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and escalate project risks and issues. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment. • Ability to learn new software with little to no instruction within short timeframes, and instruct others on functionality. • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization. • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Mastery of standard applications, project-specific software, and Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Qualifications • Experience independently managing projects or workstreams within larger initiatives. • Experience supporting project budget tracking, forecasting, or financial reporting activities. • Professional certifications or training in project management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)). • Experience managing workstreams on larger projects or delivering $1M-$5M annually. • Experience with burnup charts to track project progress.
