We're looking for a Senior Property Management Accountant to join our UK Finance team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the financial performance of our UK portfolio, partnering with Centre Management and business stakeholders to deliver insightful reporting, robust financial control and commercial support. You'll be part of a collaborative team where your expertise will help drive better decisions, strengthen governance and contribute to creating outstanding destinations for our guests, brand partners and investors. What you'll be doing... Financial Reporting, Accounting & Controls Deliver accurate financial accounting for our UK entities, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate accounting policies. Maintain robust financial records, including account reconciliations, fixed assets, open item management, petty cash and monthly SOX documentation. Prepare monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting for management and investors, providing meaningful analysis, presentation materials, lease reporting, rental income reporting and tenancy schedule updates. Produce budgets, forecasts, cashflow and capital expenditure forecasts, supporting business planning and performance management. Prepare annual statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP, ensuring accurate financial reporting and group reporting submissions. Support banking and treasury activities, including facility reporting, cash journals and treasury-related transactions. Provide financial information to support property valuations and ensure the accurate accounting of management fees, leasing fees and supplier invoices. Tax, Compliance & Governance Prepare and submit UK VAT returns and related tax reporting accurately and on time. Build strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisers and statutory bodies, acting as the primary finance contact throughout audit processes. Continuously review financial systems, controls and reporting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and transparency. Commercial Finance & Business Partnership Partner with Centre Management teams, providing financial insight that supports operational performance and commercial decision-making. Deliver timely analysis of financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities and recommendations. Prepare annual service charge reconciliations for tenant billing and provide financial reporting and ad hoc analysis for centre owners. Work closely with operational and project teams, helping to improve planning, cost management and overall business performance. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach and support the UK Property Management Accountant(s), creating a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment. Ensure deadlines are achieved while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, quality and financial control. Champion continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and standardised ways of working across the finance team. You'll be a qualified accountant (or have equivalent experience) with a strong technical accounting background and a passion for delivering accurate, insightful financial information that supports commercial decision-making. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, you'll combine technical expertise with a collaborative approach and a drive to continuously improve. You'll also have: A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience within UK accounting practices. Proven experience in financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and statutory financial reporting. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT and tax reporting, financial controls and regulatory compliance. The ability to analyse financial data, identify risks and opportunities, and translate complex information into clear, practical business insights. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence building trusted relationships across Finance, operational teams, auditors, tax advisers and senior leadership. A collaborative mindset, working effectively across teams and valuing different perspectives to achieve the best outcomes. A proactive approach to improving financial processes, controls and reporting standards, always looking for opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, alongside strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience of ERP systems; Workday experience would be an advantage. Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and confidently to a wide range of stakeholders.
