Senior QA Engineering

Job Description This is a remote position. Location: Remote Engagement Type: Project-based Assignment; B2B Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension Timezone: CET ± 3 hours Be part of our Global Engineering Network! Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support the testing and validation of a real-time communication platform. The consultant will ensure end-to-end system quality across mobile, web, and backend services, with a strong focus on call reliability, network resilience, and real-time performance in a distributed environment. Key Responsibilities • Ensure end-to-end system functionality across mobile applications, web portals, and backend APIs • Validate real-time communication features including call quality, stability, and performance • Design and execute test scenarios for network instability, packet loss, and reconnection flows • Perform functional testing across authentication, role-based access, dashboards, and API layers • Identify, document, and track edge cases affecting user experience and system reliability • Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage • Support regression testing for releases and hotfix deployments Requirements Ideal Profile • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in real-time systems, VoIP, or communication platforms • Strong experience in mobile (iOS/Android), web, and API testing • Solid understanding of real-time systems behavior (latency, jitter, packet loss, call drops) • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured • Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright (nice to have) • Familiarity with network simulation or performance testing tools is a strong advantage • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in fast-paced, distributed engineering environments Why Partner with Us? · Clear scope with no ambiguity over deliverables. · Opportunity for repeat engagements based on performance.
