Role Description The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Benito Juárez, CMX, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality software releases. Daily activities include performing manual testing, validating new features and fixes, documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will contribute to improving QA processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and mentoring other team members on best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a focus on ensuring reliable and high-performing applications.
• Experience in Test Execution and working with well-defined Test Cases to validate functionality and identify defects.
• Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques and methodologies for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and documentation of test results.
• Relevant experience as a senior or lead QA engineer in a software development environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
