THE ROLE As a Senior Quality Engineer, Electronics at Kempower, you will drive the manufacturability, ramp-up readiness, product reliability, and quality assurance of our power modules and PCBAs. You will support stable production performance and continuously improve customer-perceived quality in the field. ROLE SPECIFICS: Investigate customer, field, production, and supplier quality issues. Drive the quality and manufacturability of power modules and PCBAs. Support new product introduction and production ramp-up activities. Define and maintain Design for Manufacturing requirements with relevant stakeholders. Review product and PCBA designs from a manufacturability, testability, and quality perspective. Define manufacturing, testing, documentation, traceability, and quality control requirements. Support supplier audits, production readiness reviews, and supplier quality improvement activities. At Kempower, we work hybrid. You can work from one of our offices in Lahti, Tampere, Vaasa or Helsinki, or from your home office. However, this role requires frequent presence at our HQ in Lahti and includes occasional travel to suppliers and customer locations. WHY JOIN US? WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE Relevant educational background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality, Manufacturing or a related Experience and understanding of electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes and typical quality issues Familiarity with design for Manufacturing, production readiness, NPI and ramp-up activities Knowledge of quality tools and practices such as FMEA, control plans, root cause analysis, corrective actions, yield follow-up, and process improvement. Ability to analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify improvement needs and define practical actions together with stakeholders Proactive and structured way of working, with strong ownership and sound technical judgment to drive issues to closure. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across suppliers and internal teams As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; Finnish is considered beneficial.
