Senior Quant Developer – C++

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 6-8 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for a Senior Quant Developer with strong C++ expertise and a solid understanding of quantitative finance to join our team.

This is a hybrid Quantitative Modelling and Software Engineering role, working closely with Quant Analysts to develop and implement market and counterparty risk models within large-scale C++ systems.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience developing market risk, counterparty risk, or related financial systems.
• Strong experience working with large C++ codebases.
• Proficiency in modern C++, including C++20.
• Good understanding of quantitative finance concepts such as: Implied volatility, Standard pricing models, Statistical analysis
• Understanding of linear products, options, and ETFs, including basic pricing principles.
• Experience across multiple asset classes is a plus.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Quant Analysts and translate mathematical models into robust production code.

Nice to Have

• Experience in mathematical modelling and quantitative research.
• Hands-on experience implementing quantitative models in large-scale C++ applications.
• Strong understanding of both quantitative modelling and software engineering.
