Senior Recruitment Consultant – Remote
Basic salary: R15,000–R25,000 per month, based on experience and track record
Commission: 40% on billings above an agreed monthly threshold

Armstrong Appointments is seeking an accomplished Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our established national remote team.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced agency recruiter with a strong and demonstrable track record of managing a specialist recruitment desk, developing trusted client relationships and consistently delivering quality placements.
This is not a junior or internal recruitment position. Applications will only be considered from candidates with substantial recruitment agency experience.

The package includes:
- A basic salary of between R15,000 and R25,000 per month, depending on experience, current performance and track record
- An agreed monthly billing threshold of between R50,000 and R65,000

Comprehensive remote-working support
Armstrong Appointments has successfully operated a work-from-home recruitment model for more than 18 years.
Each consultant is provided with the equipment and infrastructure required to operate professionally and effectively, including:
- Company laptop
- VOIP switchboard telephone
- Company mobile phone
- Internet connectivity and backup connectivity
- Backup power or an inverter
- Full IT support
- Recruitment and administrative support
Our experienced support team assists consultants with:
- CV preparation and formatting
- Vacancy advertising
- Candidate documentation
- Criminal, qualification and credit checks
- Switchboard support
- General recruitment administration
This allows our consultants to focus their time on developing client relationships, sourcing high-calibre candidates and closing placements.

The consultant we are looking for
This role will suit a mature, self-motivated and commercially minded recruitment professional who values autonomy but also wants the support, resources and credibility of an established agency.
The successful candidate should have:
- Ideally 10 or more years of recruitment agency experience
- A strong and verifiable recruitment track record
- Experience managing a full 360-degree recruitment desk
- Demonstrated success in client development, client management and candidate sourcing
- Experience recruiting within one or more specialist industries
- The discipline and self-motivation required to work effectively from home
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
- A commitment to ethical recruitment and consistently high-quality service
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive national team
An existing client network would be advantageous but is not compulsory. The right consultant may be given access to established Armstrong Appointments clients and vacancies, depending on experience, specialisation and fit.
