From shaping data center power strategy to steering high-impact roadmaps, you will orchestrate collaborations with the DOE, DOD, top-tier universities, and global industry partners. This is your chance to pioneer the next generation of reliable, efficient, and stable energy systems that will power the world. Job Description Essential Responsibilities E valuat ing and proposing design power generation architectures on an application-specific basis, considering factors such as system performance, and reliability by performing studies and simulations to validate the system’s response and performance. Develop and maintain reliability models using BlockSIM to validate system performance, availability, and maintainability for complex integrated power solutions (e.g., hybrid systems, BESS, and industrial electrical gear). Lead equipment coordination modeling between teams to ensure maximum uptime, system resilience and operational efficiency for “inside the fence line” power generation assets (including natural gas turbines, HV & LV electrical gear, stability equipment etc.) Translate key customer availability, mean time between failures (MTBF) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations into concrete electrical configuration and protective relaying requirements. Support equipment LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and operational reliability requirements. Translate customer reliability goals into actionable engineering design inputs for reference architectures. Perform reliability-centered simulations to derisk integration, ensuring consistency with industry standards and reference architectures. Lead onsite generation report definition and gather necessary information to support customer meetings and final report submittal. Lead business unit coordinator for on-going customer projects and proposals. Experience with MAPS or MARS preferred. Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 25% of the time, as required . Desired Qualifications : Advanced degree in electrical, mechanical or power systems engineering from an accredited university or college. Ability to lead, motivate and influence individuals and teams . At least 5-7 years of professional experience in engineering, plant management, product management or a related function Direct experience with prime-power or continuous-duty data center generation assets (islanded, islanded to grid connected or grid connected).
