Senior REO Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned • Manage assigned REO property portfolios from acquisition through final disposition • Coordinate with vendors, agents, attorneys, and internal teams to ensure timely property preservation, marketing, and sale • Monitor timelines and ensure compliance with investor, insurer, and regulatory requirements • Review and maintain accurate property records, including occupancy status, valuations, and title reports • Assist in resolving title issues, code violations, and other property-related challenges • Track and report on key performance metrics such as days on market, liquidation timelines, and recovery rates • Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance REO operations • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management and disposition • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive borrower and property information Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred • 4–6 years of experience in REO, asset management, or mortgage servicing • Strong understanding of REO timelines, investor guidelines, and property preservation practices • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and REO management platforms (e.g., Equator, Pyramid, or similar) • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Why Selene?
