Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Cycle Business Analyst to join a forward-thinking healthcare organization in a fully remote capacity. This role sits at the intersection of clinical operations and financial performance, responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and maintaining revenue cycle processes using Epic Clarity and advanced data tools. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of hospital and professional billing, a strong technical foundation in SQL and reporting platforms, and the analytical mindset to turn complex data into actionable improvements. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain certified datasets that serve as the centralized source for Revenue Cycle KPI metrics and performance dashboards Analyze revenue cycle workflows across hospital billing and professional billing to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities Develop and maintain reports and visualizations using Crystal Reports, Tableau, and SQL to support operational and executive decision-making Collaborate with clinical, coding, and billing teams to validate data accuracy and support process improvement initiatives Apply OLAP technologies and relational database concepts to support large-scale data modeling and analysis Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) and provide guidance to cross-functional stakeholders Monitor key revenue cycle metrics and proactively surface trends, anomalies, and recommendations to leadership Requirements Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) Certification required 3+ years of clinical Revenue Cycle experience Strong working knowledge of Hospital Billing and Professional Billing data Demonstrated expertise with SQL, Crystal Reports, and Tableau Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and OLAP technologies Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and standardizing governance frameworks for certified datasets Background working in a health system or large multi-entity healthcare environment Familiarity with revenue cycle analytics platforms beyond Epic Screening Questions Do you hold an active Epic Revenue Data Model (Clarity) Certification? If so, when was it obtained? Describe a specific revenue cycle reporting project where you used SQL and Tableau together — what was the business problem and what was the outcome?
