What’s In It For You Competitive salary We are globally hybrid (please check the specifics for this role during interview process) Flexible working hours Private Pension Plan fully paid by the company after probation Private medical insurance with Catastrophe cover fully paid by the company Employee recognition program and spot bonuses Purpose of the job: Assist the Global Head of Risk and Compliance, GCC and Senior Risk and Compliance Manager in terms of providing regional compliance support for the UAE office and other risk and compliance tasks for the Group Main responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive review and risk assessment for new business applications including ad hoc applications, arrange to table to the Client Committee and circulate minutes of meeting Provide guidance and support to the business in relation to adverse reports through ad-hoc screening Assist with the maintenance and update of a variety of standard compliance registers Monitoring and updating the compliance calendars on a monthly basis Review Politically Exposed Person (PEP) applications, arrange for approval by senior management and update the PEP Register Work with the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to update AML procedures where appropriate Assist with the Business Risk Assessment exercise of the relevant Ocorian entity Ensure that documents on our internal Portal (Davi) is up to date at all times Assist with staff training Carry out any compliance related function/activity as required by the Global Head of Risk and Compliance, GCC and Senior Risk and Compliance Manager from time to time #LI-LL1 #LI-Hybrid The post holder will hold at least a first degree in Law, Law and Management, Finance with Law (or equivalent) or a relevant professional compliance related qualification. Knowledge, Skills and Experience 2 or more years of compliance experience. Sound technical knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of international AML/CFT concepts and framework. Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing, to express views in a clear and succinct manner at all levels within the organisation. Good interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain close working relationships with colleagues and third parties. Computer literacy is essential. Enthusiasm and flexibility. Able to deal comfortably with staff at all levels. Methodical and accurate approach with an eye for detail. Working as part of a team. Self-motivated and proactive. The ability to manage time effectively and to prioritise and organise workflow. Analytical and investigative skills. Good time management with the ability to work in an orderly way, as well as the ability to work under pressure and plan ahead to achieve deadlines set, delivering agreed tasks on time.
