Senior RPG Developer

As part of our continued growth strategy, we are looking for a Senior RPG Developer to strengthen our team specialized in IBM i (AS/400) environments, contributing to the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of business-critical applications for our clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications in IBM i (AS/400) environments. Perform functional and technical analysis of business requirements. Manage and optimize SQL queries and processes in DB2 databases. Design, develop, and test RPG programs. Develop and maintain both batch and interactive processes. Troubleshoot incidents and provide support for production applications. Participate in technology evolution initiatives and legacy application modernization projects. Create and maintain technical documentation. Collaborate with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and multidisciplinary technical teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in AS/400 system administration and support. Strong knowledge of RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages. Experience with AS/400 tools and utilities (e.g., iSeries Navigator, Query/400). Knowledge of DB2 databases. Familiarity with networking, storage, and virtualization concepts in AS/400 environments. Nice-to-Have Skills Query/400. iSeries Navigator. Web Services and APIs on IBM i. Version control tools. Functional knowledge of banking, insurance, manufacturing, or distribution sectors. Languages Spanish: Native or bilingual proficiency. English: Intermediate to upper-intermediate level (preferred).
