About the Role We are looking for a Data Engineer with experience in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere to support the development of data pipelines, data models, and reporting solutions across our business. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence , where you will work on end-to-end data flows—from ingestion and transformation to reporting—within a SAP-driven data landscape. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain data models and data pipelines within SAP BW/4HANA Develop and support end-to-end BI solutions , including data modeling, ETL, and reporting Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring reliable and scalable data flows Support reporting and analytics by delivering clean, structured datasets Monitor and optimize performance of data loads, transformations, and queries Collaborate with business stakeholders and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI development 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW on HANA and SAP Datasphere 3–5 years of experience in data warehouse or data infrastructure development Experience with SAP data integration techniques (e.g., BDC) Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions , including: Data modeling ETL / data pipelines Reporting and analytics Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization Nice to Have Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI or Business Objects Basic knowledge of ABAP What We Offer Competitive compensation with annual salary reviews Hybrid or remote working options across Europe or India Clear development opportunities within a global organization Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid leave, and more At Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
