Senior SAP EWM Solution Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SAP EWM Solution Architect to be a driving force within a small team, with direct ownership of the end-to-end SAP EWM solution design for a global manufacturing organization. The role is fully remote, with travel to Ostrava, Czech Republic 2–3 times per year, running from August to December 2026 with a very high probability of extension into 2027. Czech language is mandatory, and candidates must pass a background check to work in the EU / Czech Republic.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead Fit-to-Standard Workshops: Run all Fit-to-Standard workshops with business stakeholders and local IT representatives, coordinating requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and prioritization.
• Define Future-State EWM Processes: Design future-state EWM processes based on Handling Unit management.
• Own the SAP EWM Solution Design: Cover warehouse areas, integration with production, and sterilization-related flows.
• EWM MFS and Automation: Define EWM MFS requirements and validate integration scenarios with warehouse automation.
• Champion SAP Standard: Challenge business requirements and promote standard SAP functionality over custom developments.
• Architecture Documentation: Produce solution architecture documentation, process flows, and design decisions.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with the IT PM on scope, risks, dependencies, and design decisions, and support POC and solution validation activities.
• Planning and Estimation: Provide effort estimates, implementation roadmap, and deployment recommendations for subsequent phases together with IT and business PMs.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
• At least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations.
• Proven track record of Factory EWM implementations for global organizations.
• Deep EWM knowledge (process, solution design, and configuration) within SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid knowledge of related SAP modules: MM, PP.
• Strong knowledge of Handling Units, RF, MFS, warehouse automation, and production integration.
• Experience facilitating Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with business and IT teams, with excellent documentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Czech language (mandatory).
  
  

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Application Associate in Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA.
