Senior Security Architect

Role Overview As a Senior Security Architect, you will contribute to embedding security best practices and secure by design principles into our wide ranging client engagements. Working closely with your colleagues across Cyber, including Managing Security Architects, you will work on a range of security activities, collaborating closely with teams across the organisation to ensure security is embedded into their solutions, rather than bolted on. You will support the development of security architecture blueprints and documentation, such as high level design documents, perform security gap analysis, and review architecture design documentation. Taking a risk based approach, and following industry standard security architecture frameworks, you will support the development of security controls to address the current and future cyber security threat landscape, whilst being aligned to our clients’ overall business objectives. This is an opportunity to further develop your security architecture capability whilst delivering value across varied and complex environments. Key Responsibilities Support security architecture activities within client engagements Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders to understand their objectives Assist in the identification and understanding of customer security requirements Review existing and proposed solution architectures for security risk, mitigating security controls, and applying secure architecture principles Develop security design documentation, such as high level designs, and support the definition of security testing activities Support security aspects of bid responses Be an active participant within the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence Promote awareness amongst the Cyber Security team, and wider, of the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry standard methodologies
