Senior Security Data Scientist (Python) at BairesDev

In this role, you'll apply quantitative analytics and statistical modeling to large-scale security data, turning raw signals into insights that drive risk prioritization and decision-making. Working across analytical pipelines and data warehouses, you'll build models that help security teams understand and act on what matters most. What You'll Do:

- Perform quantitative analytics on large-scale security data to uncover patterns and drive risk insights.

- Build analytical pipelines using Python, including statistical modeling and feature engineering.

- Query and analyze large datasets across modern data warehouses.

- Develop risk models incorporating vulnerability scoring frameworks and contextual signals.

- Communicate findings through visualization and reporting for both engineering and leadership audiences.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics.

- Strong experience with quantitative analytics on large-scale security data.

- Proficiency in Python including pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn for analytical pipelines.

- Solid background in statistical modeling and feature engineering.

- Experience with SQL and large-data analysis on warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

- Familiarity with vulnerability scoring frameworks such as CVSS, EPSS, or KEV, and risk modeling.

- Experience integrating environmental, insider-risk, and threat-intel context into prioritization.

- Strong visualization and reporting skills for both technical and executive audiences.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
