We are currently searching for a Sr Application Performance and Observability Engineer: The Challenge (Responsibilities) Lead the technical investigation and implement end-to-end application traceability across complex systems. Diagnose and resolve network, proxy, load balancer, and TLS troubleshooting issues. Perform API latency, timeout, retry, and dependency failure analysis. Execute browser-to-backend transaction tracing, Real User Monitoring, and frontend error analysis. Your Profile (Requirements) Deep Java application performance engineering experience. Strong WebSphere and WebLogic diagnostic skills. JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, heap dumps, and thread dumps. Application-level structured logging and correlation ID implementation. Distributed tracing across applications, APIs, and downstream dependencies. Hands-on experience with Datadog , New Relic , or similar APM tools. Oracle performance diagnostics, including SQL execution plans, AWR, and ASH. JDBC connection pools, application thread pools, and session management. Experience tracing transactions across legacy or partially instrumented platforms. High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery. Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering." Desired Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
