IN A NUTSHELL We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who will own the organic social strategy and execution across key platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube. The role will play a leading role in growing brand reach and driving engagement via building culturally relevant social-first content that appeals to Bulk’s core audience. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Organic Social Strategy & Growth Lead the development and delivery of Bulk’s organic social media strategy, with a strong focus on maximising Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube Be accountable for social performance, driving team to continuously grow & improve metrics such as reach, engagement and follower growth Monitor competitor activity and platform development, proactively bringing insights & recommendations on how to capture growth opportunities Use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully to accelerate insight, ideation and content development, while protecting creative quality, originality and Bulk’s distinctive tone of voice. Social Content Calendar & Creative Development Own the social content calendar, balancing content types (e.g. campaign launches, product moments, reactive trends, community storytelling) to deliver engaging content to consumers Create and brief social-first and thumb-stopping content formats (e.g. Tiktoks, Reels, Stories, carousels, memes, UGC-led assets) that are in line with relevant cultural, fitness and nutrition trends Define & manage day-to-day social content & publishing process, including asset briefing, creation, copywriting and publishing Develop Bulk’s tone of voice on social, ensuring content feels credible, entertaining and native to each platform Community Engagement & Consumer Insights Build & nurture Bulk’s online community through comment management and conversation-led content Maximise social media as a listening tool, sharing consumer insights & feedback from comments and DMs with relevant teams Working with Bulk ambassadors and other social creators to maximise the brand on social med ia Performance & Optimisation Track & analyse content performance (e.g. reach, engagement, watch time, drop-off), using data to refine & optimise content strategy & execution Partner with Performance Marketing team to share creative insights, identify high-performing organic content and support paid social testing where relevant People Management Manage & develop Social Media Executive, driving high standards of output and performance. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 5+ years experience in social media, sports/fitness brand background a bonus Deep understanding of platform dynamics across Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube etc Strong understanding of what makes content perform organically across short-form video, stories, reels, carousels, etc. A proven track record of delivering measurable audience, engagement or brand growth on social channels Creatively-minded individual with 5+ years’ experience, with a strong creative eye and confidence briefing designers, videographers, editors and creators Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice by platform, audience and campaign objective Experience managing or mentoring junior team members, with the ability to drive high standards of output and performance Curious and confident experimenting with emerging tools, including AI, to improve creative development and social performance Passion for fitness, health and nutrition.
