Senior Software Developer - Zoocasa - (REMOTE)

What you will do: We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer who has a passion for delivering a high quality technical product to users who care. In this role, you will help us simplify the real estate journey by building ambitious products and features for home buyers, sellers and eXp agents. How you will make an impact: Work on our existing Golang and Ruby on Rails backend services to build new APIs, tune performance and expand functionality Work on our Next.js/React applications to expose features and improve functionality to our customers Work within our Kubernetes & AWS infrastructure to launch new services, balance workloads and manage capacity Work collaboratively to define, design, deliver and care for valuable solutions for our customers Write testable, observable, maintainable code using direct and AI enabled technologies Share knowledge and contribute to system documentation Work closely with and collaborate with other Staff Engineers, Engineering Management, Product Management and Executives How you will grab our attention: 6+ years of backend development experience with a server-side programming language (Golang or Javascript preferred) Experience with a relational database such as Postgres, Mysql, MSSQL Demonstrated ability to collaborate, take ownership and deliver on important projects High attention to detail and excited to learn new skills while working on the most important problems across the tech stack Experience working with a cloud provider such as AWS, GCP or others is a plus Experience in Ruby, Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, Docker and Next.js is a plus Experience working with DevOps tooling such as CDNs, CICD, Observability tools and shell scripting is a plus Experience with SEO is a plus If you think you’d make a great match for this position but don’t meet all the requirements, we would still encourage you to apply!
