Senior Software Development Engineer (Java/Angular)

Position Summary As a Senior Software Development Engineer with CVS Health, you will participate on a product team of 6-10 people (engineers, UX designers, and product manager) and work with the team to build high-quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders. You will help educate both business and technology personnel on the development process and create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery . You will also maintain a user-centered and business-as-priority approach in design perspective and practice . A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in th is role. Responsibilities Work in a collaborative environment, contributing to A gile team Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment, preferably in a J2EE development environment 5 + years of Java development experience while utilizing Spring Boot and/or Spring MVC 2+ years of experience with frontend development including Angular 8+, React, or similar 1+ year of experienc e using Agile concepts such as c ontinuous i ntegration (CI/CD) and t est- d riven d evelopment (TDD) Preferred Qualifications Cloud development experience PaaS and/or SaaS development experience Education Bachelor’s degree in c omputer s cience, information systems, e ngineering or related field preferred 2 year s of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
