Title and Summary Senior Software Engineer Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Data Warehouse & Analytics Engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable enterprise applications, modern web experiences, and data-driven platforms that enable business insights. You will work across the full technology stack, collaborating with product managers, architects, UX designers, data engineers, and other software engineers to deliver high-quality analytical products used by global customers. This role requires strong expertise in Java, Angular, REST APIs, relational databases, and an appreciation for Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehousing concepts. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular. Participate in architecture, technical design, estimation, and implementation of complex features. Build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for analytics and reporting applications. Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs. Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to integrate applications with enterprise data warehouse platforms. Optimize application performance, database queries, and overall system scalability. Contribute to data modeling and analytics solutions that power business intelligence applications. Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices. Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence across the team. Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, tooling, and engineering practices. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and participate in operational excellence initiatives. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Full Stack Software Development in enterprise production environments. Strong experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed applications. Expert-level proficiency in Java application development, including: Java 11/17+ Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Data JPA Hibernate JPA Microservices architecture Strong frontend development experience using: Angular (preferred) TypeScript JavaScript (ES6+) HTML5 CSS3/SCSS Responsive UI development Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. Good understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS). Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, query optimization, and database performance tuning. Familiarity with Business Intelligence platforms and reporting solutions. Experience with multithreading, asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and messaging technologies. Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and clean architecture. Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows. Experience using Maven or Gradle build systems. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Good to Have AI-Assisted Development Experience using GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, or similar AI coding assistants to improve developer productivity. Exposure to AI-assisted software development workflows. Experience leveraging Generative AI for: Code generation Unit test generation Documentation Refactoring Debugging Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as: GitHub Copilot Cursor AI ChatGPT Claude Gemini Data & Analytics Experience working with enterprise Data Warehouse platforms. Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as: Power BI Tableau SSRS Understanding of semantic models, OLAP concepts, and analytical reporting. Experience integrating applications with reporting and analytics platforms. Cloud & DevOps Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) is a plus. Monitoring and observability using Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Dynatrace. Quality Engineering Experience writing unit and integration tests using: JUnit Mockito Jasmine Karma Cypress Experience with SonarQube and static code analysis.
