Overview Senior Software Engineer 📍 Location: Hyderabad / Remote 🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote – 2 days per week in the office (for hybrid) About the Role We're looking for a technically strong and self-driven Senior Software Engineer to join our team and bring deep expertise in building highly scalable, enterprise-grade applications. In this role, you'll independently drive design decisions, deliver complex solutions end-to-end, and play a meaningful role in shaping engineering standards and team capability. Here's What You'll Do. Design and build scalable software systems and distributed services , driving complex technical projects from design through production deployment with a focus on performance, reliability, and long-term engineering excellence. Partner with architects and product teams to translate business needs into well-executed technical solutions, promoting engineering standards and architectural best practices across the organization. Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability ; lead root-cause analysis for critical customer issues and drive resolutions with a focus on sustainable system health. Mentor engineers and contribute to team development , sharing technical knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning, ownership, and engineering excellence. Lead and independently own large technical initiatives , demonstrating full accountability for end-to-end delivery from design through production while maintaining code quality and operational standards. Leverage AI-driven development techniques to improve productivity and quality, contributing to the adoption of modern engineering practices across the team. Technology Tools Java, C# or C++ Spring Boot / .NET Kubernetes & Docker Kafka & Message-Driven Systems AWS & Azure SQL & NoSQL Databases CI/CD Platforms Observability & Monitoring Tools Role Essentials 7–10 years of software engineering experience , with a minimum of 5 years in enterprise product development and at least 3 years building microservices-based architectures in production environments. Strong expertise in one or more programming languages — Java, C#, or C++ — with a proven ability to design scalable and resilient distributed systems. Experience designing, developing, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure, with hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems , with experience optimizing system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency at scale. Demonstrated ability to independently own large technical initiatives , including leading root-cause analysis for critical production issues and driving effective, long-term resolutions. What We'd Like to See Experience with Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, MongoDB , or similar technologies within distributed, enterprise-scale environments. Experience implementing AI-enabled features or integrating LLM APIs into enterprise software applications. Contributions to framework, platform, or architectural modernization efforts within large-scale engineering organizations. Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth , with a collaborative and people-first approach to technical leadership. Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and observability & monitoring tools to support reliable, high-quality software delivery in production environments.
