🚀 We're Hiring — Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

MincaAI builds AI-powered workflow automation software for the insurance industry. We design intelligent agents that automate complex, repetitive operational processes — from document intake and data extraction to smart matching and decision support — so that teams can focus on high-value work instead of manual tasks.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of key modules and help us ship.

🔧 What you'll do

— Own and deliver full features end-to-end: backend API, data layer, and frontend integration — Design and implement microservices with Python/FastAPI following clean architecture principles

— Build and maintain the React/TypeScript frontend (dashboard, workflow UI, data tables)

— Define data models, write migrations (PostgreSQL + SQLAlchemy/Alembic)

— Integrate external APIs: Microsoft Graph, OpenAI, third-party systems

— Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS, S3)

— Drive architectural decisions and propose improvements to the codebase and system design

— Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, testing, and documentation standards

✅ What we're looking for

— 7+ years of professional software engineering experience

— Expert-level Python (FastAPI) and strong React/TypeScript skills

— Solid understanding of clean architecture, DDD, and microservices patterns

— Experience with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines

— Genuinely passionate about AI — you follow the space, you experiment with LLMs, you see how AI is reshaping software engineering. We're an AI-native company and we want people who share that mindset.

— Strong ownership mentality, you don't wait for instructions, you drive solutions

— Comfortable making architectural decisions and defending technical trade-offs

— Experience working in startups or small autonomous teams — Excellent written communication in English

Spanish speaking, english speaking is required

Nice to have: LLM API experience (OpenAI, Anthropic), vector databases (pgvector, FAISS), insurance/fintech domain
