Senior Software Engineer
About the Job
CloudGeometry is a Silicon Valley-based engineering company and an Anthropic Claude Partner, AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, and CNCF Kubernetes Certified Service Provider. We are building AI-MSL — an end-to-end, AI-powered, and supervised software development and maintenance platform that transforms how production systems are maintained, modernized, and extended.
AI-MSL takes a change described in plain language and turns it into requirements, then specifications, then implemented and tested code, then updated documentation — delivered as a production-ready branch against the customer's own repository. AI agents execute the work; engineers approve it at enforced review gates. Every action is grounded in a continuously maintained semantic model of the customer's system (AppGraph), so agents work from real architecture rather than inference.
Coding agents are good at producing output and poor at determining whether that output is correct. The structure built around them to close that gap is the product, and it's what this role works on.
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build that structure — the workspace, orchestration layer, and approval surfaces that let a human reviewer direct and verify AI coding agents. This is a substantially full-stack role: a meaningful share of the work is frontend, because the interface is where a long-running, asynchronous, occasionally-wrong AI system becomes something a person can actually direct. The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer who can own frontend work independently and is comfortable building with AI coding assistants as part of their daily workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Build the workspace where product owners submit changes, track them through review gates, and review what the agents produced — interfaces for work that runs for days, streams partial results, and sometimes fails in ways a progress bar can't express. Design what a reviewer needs to see at a gate to make a good call quickly, including how a specification, diff, or test run gets rendered so it can be judged rather than skimmed.
Help build the orchestration layer that moves a change through its lifecycle phases and halts it at the correct points for human approval.
Contribute to the tooling agents execute inside — including the verification that catches a bad result before it reaches a reviewer — and the feedback path that converts a reviewer's decision into a durable constraint the next change respects.
Take full ownership of key platform components, translating high-level requirements into scalable, production-ready specifications with minimal supervision. Review code from junior engineers and contribute to architecture discussions.
Work genuinely across the full stack — TypeScript/NestJS/Postgres on the backend, TypeScript/Next.js/React on the frontend — building for uncertainty: asynchronous state, partial results, long-running processes, and outputs a human has to evaluate rather than simply consume.
Participate in a daily standup with a globally distributed team spanning Europe and South America. Stay responsive in Slack during your own working hours and hold the user's perspective while grooming tickets.

How We Screen
We're looking for engineers who ship complete features across the stack with minimal supervision. Beyond the 5+ years bar:
Send something you have built and owned end to end — ideally something where the frontend carried real complexity: asynchronous state, partial results, or output a user has to evaluate rather than simply consume. Then describe a problem it had before you fixed it, and what you changed so that it stopped.
If you have built something with Claude Code or another AI coding assistant — a skill, a hook, a harness, or an agent that runs unattended — share that too, along with what it got wrong and how you engineered around it. It's not required, but it's a strong signal, and we're assessing the reasoning, not the repository.
Why CloudGeometry?
CloudGeometry is moving away from fragmented, plug-in-based chat models to build enterprise-ready, governed software manufacturing factories. As a key contributor to that effort, your work will directly change how software is authored, shipped, and maintained globally.
Competitive Benefits: Comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
Cutting-Edge Tooling: Claude Code and frontier model access, on a new product with zero legacy infrastructure.
Continuous Growth: Training budget for certifications and courses.
Global Culture: Fully remote and flexible outside mandatory meeting hours (07:00–11:00 Mountain Time, typically one daily standup), working alongside engineers across Europe and South America.
