Senior Software Engineer

Hunter Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help develop and scale the cloud-based solutions behind Hydrawise.

Hydrawise manages watering for millions of gardens and landscapes across more than 130 countries, processing approximately 4 billion events every month.

In this role, you will develop, test, and maintain software applications; lead feature development; troubleshoot application issues; monitor system performance; and collaborate with global Product, Firmware, Technical Support, and Development teams.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of software development experience

• Strong experience with Python and AWS

• Experience with Kubernetes, Lambda, and IoT

• Experience working with large-scale event streams and applications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent English communication skills is a MUST to have

• Ability to work effectively with global teams
