Senior Software Engineer

By ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technologies (SMT) , you will be responsible for high-quality software development as part of a well-functioning team, review code commits, mentor junior colleagues, design and follow CI/CD processes, and collaborate closely with the software architect and requirements engineer. The role of Senior Software Engineer will involve: Develop high quality software solution as part of a well-functioning team Review code commits B e mentor for junior colleagues D esign and follow CI/CD processes Technical alignment with stakeholders W ork together closely with software architect and requirement engineer Your Experience A degree in business information technology or a comparable qualification Confident handling of C# and .NET 8 Confident handling of WPF , Knowledge of the use of WCF and GraphQL famework , Knowledge of the use machine communication protocols, like OPC UA Understanding of component level software design e.g. OOP, SOLID, Software design patterns ( GoF ) It would be desirable if you had: Experience in industrial automation . It is an advantage if didn’t only work with, but already designed a SCADA system System thinking mindset : able to understand the machine’s operation and the software at the system level.
