We don’t just sell space, we deliver impact for our clients and value for the communities we serve. 📍London - 2 days a week | 💰 Salary for this role is dependant on your experience, you’ll also receive bonus + benefits About The Role We're sunsetting our legacy system used by our clients and moving into a more sleek, advanced system where our clients can bid for advertising space, control the graphics on our advertising portals, view data and ad performance all in real time. You'll be key in the release of the platform and keeping it fresh with new feature builds and bug fixes when needed. The majority of the role is focused on BE work with some FE work where you'll act as a mentor to the more junior/mid level members of the team while working closely with Eliana who's our new Director of Engineering. Our stack: React, NodeJS, Typescript, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Postgres, SQL, Grafana What you’ll be doing - Design and evolve high-throughput services with a focus on observability, fault tolerance, and cost-efficiency. You’ll own capacity planning and define the SLOs that keep our revenue-critical systems stable - Identify and resolve bottlenecks across APIs and data pipelines. You will optimize code and queries to minimize latency and maximize throughput under real-world production loads - Champion clean code, automated testing, and CI/CD.
