As an Android engineer on this team, you'll build the native mobile experiences that bring skills intelligence, career pathing, and AI-powered learning to millions of professionals, at the moments that matter most for their careers. Working closely with product, design, and our web and backend counterparts, you'll turn ideas like AI-driven role recommendations and personalized learning plans into fast, reliable, native experiences — reaching millions of employees across tens of thousands of companies worldwide - and helping both people and organizations navigate a changing world of work. Responsibilities You will design and execute user-facing features for the native LinkedIn app on Android devices by leveraging mobile operating system frameworks for multi-threading, persisting data, and managing user experience and graphics across multiple screen sizes. You will use the latest cutting edge technologies and libraries suggested by Google for building responsive native apps for Android. You will build scalable native mobile apps using LinkedIn’s internal libraries. You will produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration. You will provide technical leadership, driving best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs. Basic Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
