Our client is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to develop high-performance, real-time software for edge-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise software using modern C++.
• Build real-time data and video processing solutions.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Debug complex multithreaded applications.
• Work with Linux, Docker, and edge hardware.
• Contribute to technical direction and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years' software engineering experience.
• Strong C/C++ and modern C++17/20 knowledge.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.
• Experience with Linux, GDB, and Docker.
• Ability to develop scalable, high-performance systems.

Nice to Have

• NVIDIA/CUDA or GPU programming.
• Video codecs or streaming protocols.
• Python, CMake, or edge/cloud experience.
