Senior Software Engineer, New product, Full-stack

We build the tools that detect and stop them. Why this role matters This is a key role in building Hoxhunt's new product, helping organizations to see, understand, and act on human risks. Your mission : make risk insights clear and actionable. You'll ship new features and improve parts that matter the most - APIs, high-throughput event processing pipeline, a flexible data visualization system and a powerful automation builder. What you’ll own and drive Features are shipped end-to-end, together. Team own defining scope and architecture, building it and ensuring code runs smooth in production. Lead the architecture and development of our systems. Raise the bar around you through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. Tech stack: TypeScript/Node.js, AlloyDB/PostgreSQL, GraphQL, React, GCP. Decide what to build by understanding the user problem and the business impact. Evaluate tradeoffs and use real data to iterate. What success looks like In the first 90 days, you have shipped important features end-to-end and you're influencing product and technical decisions. By month six, you own one or more subsystems, defining the technical direction, what we build next, what we stop doing, what we invest in. What makes you thrive here Backend focused full-stack engineer who has worked with multiple products, shipping scalable cloud products end-to-end. Likely 5+ years of full-stack experience, but we care more about what you've built than the number. Fluent in TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL databases or other similar technologies. Genuinely care about the product and its users. Under ambiguity, you’ll collaborate with the whole team to figure out the right things rather than wait for a spec. Experience with AI coding tools, or you're interested in building the setup that makes them effective. Bonus points if you also: Experience with GraphQL, React architecture or event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience GCP, e.g. Pub/Sub or BigQuery Who you’ll work with You will be joining a small, mission-driven, and highly autonomous product team: six engineers, one designer, one PM. We own the new product end-to-end. We want ship fast in small increments: something a customer can use now, then iterate. What you can expect from us Compensation : The monthly compensation range for this position is €6,000-7,500 / month depending on your experience. You may notice varying salary ranges for roles with similar titles across Hoxhunt; this is because each range is grounded in our role leveling and reflects the seniority, scope, and impact expectations required for that specific role and team, and we operate with a low hierarchy.
