Senior Software Engineer Observability / SRE

What You'll do: - Design and implement solutions that ensure robustness, observability, performance, and quality of complex backend systems, across both legacy and modern technology stacks; - Develop backend services using at least two high-level programming languages (.NET, Java, Python, Ruby, etc.); - Automate tasks and processes using shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, etc.); - Troubleshoot distributed systems with a strong curiosity for their inner workings; - Contribute to the design, build, and operation of modern distributed architectures; - Apply solid knowledge of communication protocols in distributed environments; - Work with non-relational databases such as document stores (e.g., Elastic) and time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB); - Promote best practices in software development with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance; - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver simple and effective solutions aligned with business vision; - Hybrid Work Model. What You Are: - Minimum of 3 years experience in backend software development; - Proven expertise in at least two high-level programming languages (.NET, Java, Python, Ruby, etc.); - Strong scripting skills for automation (Bash, PowerShell, or similar); - Experience in designing, building, and operating modern distributed architectures; - Solid knowledge of infrastructure automation and provisioning processes; - Strong understanding of observability principles and tools; - Deep knowledge of communication protocols in distributed systems; - Experience with non-relational paradigms, such as document databases (Elastic) or time-series databases (InfluxDB); - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset; - Clear and assertive communication skills, both written and spoken; - Autonomous, iterative thinker with a pragmatic approach to innovation; - Portuguese Native.  Nice to Have: - Experience with asynchronous/concurrent programming; - Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices; - Hands-on experience with observability solutions (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Jaeger); - Familiarity with TDD/BDD and test automation; - Experience designing and defining APIs; - Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
