As Software Quality Assurance Engineer at STRADE , you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the delivery of Software artefacts and before deploying those into Production. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive product excellence ensuring the successful delivery of our digital marketplace. What You’ll Do (Tasks & Responsibilities) Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand testing requirements and objectives, and user expectations Partner with Tech Leads during the design phase to ensure system testability, observability, and resilience are built-in from the start Conduct test analysis, design meticulous test cases, and execute tests to expand the coverage of new and existing functionalities. Your expertise will span both manual and automated testing areas Regularly update regression and feature test sets according to evolving customer requirements Own the evolution of the automation architecture and tooling choices Mentor and coach QA and Software Engineers in test automation best practices, coding standards, and quality mindsets to foster a culture of collective ownership Introduce AI Supported Quality tools and skills Help define and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, providing fast and reliable feedback to the engineering team and reducing test flakiness and execution time Help define and contribute to performance, load, accessibility and other types of non-functional testing, making our app an industry standard Define requirements for test environments and test data management, ensuring integration with 3rd-party systems Identify, assess, and manage risks and prioritize tests to mitigate potential issues Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies What You Bring (Qualifications and Professional Competencies) Degree ( FH , BSc, MSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field Ideally, continuing education in software testing ( ISTQB / ISEB or equivalent qualification) 5+ years of working experience in planning and executing methodical testing of complex software solutions, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment Hands-on knowledge of API and E2E test automation tools and frameworks (preferably Playwright, TypeScript) Ability to think from an end-users perspective to ensure software usability and satisfaction Proficiency in analyzing usability and design specifications to derive effective test cases Experience working in both start-up and large-scale enterprise environments Additional plus Familiarity with testing e-commerce or marketplace platforms Familiarity with performance testing tools (preferably k6) Understanding of the aviation industry, aerospace ( MRO ) business or related fields Experience working with JIRA , Xray, and Confluence Fluent in English, both written and spoken Who You Are (Personal Competencies) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus High level of initiative and exceptional sense of responsibility (can-do attitude) Team player with high problem-solving competence Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a cross-functional team of business analysts, architects, engineers, and UX designers Open and positive mindset (error culture), particularly in case of unplanned hurdles and setbacks Solid analytical understanding, structured and results-oriented working method And - Why join us?
