Senior System Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior System Engineer on the Infrastructure & Automation team, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions, automate processes, and ensure seamless operations of mission-critical systems. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to drive innovation and operational efficiency. This is an elevated position requiring hands-on and solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, optimize and document on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as MS ADO, Bicep, PowerShell to automate deployments and configurations.
• Monitoring & Performance: Implement and develop monitoring solutions to ensure visibility into system health, performance, and capacity planning.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security best practices and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams like architects, operations, and security to ensure smooth delivery pipelines and infrastructure alignment.

Who are you

You have:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Significant technical knowledge on any of the following areas: Azure cloud with focus on infrastructure/resource management (e.g. VM – servers, storage, network), virtual environment management, Microsoft Windows Server roles (e.g Active Directory, DFS, Remote Desktop classical and web, IIS), Enterprise firewall and antivirus solutions, Log management, SSO, Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly driven passionate person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations
• Experience and passion for learning (technical and soft skills); implementing practices from others; trying, failing and learning from that; sharing practices and knowledge for others’ benefit.
• Good written and verbal English skills

You might also have:

• Expertise in cloud environments and architecture
• Certification in following areas: MS Azure, Linux, Windows Server
• Clear understanding of common compliance and data privacy legislation (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC-2, GDRP).
