Senior Test Specialist

Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key customer accounts. Customer facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts. Your key tasks Lead the project-based test team, enabling it to deliver the highest level of quality across our testing services and practices Define Test Policy and Test Plan Manage customer relationship with appropriate communication and coordinate testing activities with customer Test Manager Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates Report progress to management and customer Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their re-usability Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness) Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting Documentation and evaluation the results of the testing University degree in Engineering, Banking, Finance, Business or Economics Minimum of 5 to 8 years work experience within the banking/financial industry In-depth knowledge of test concepts and methodology Working knowledge of QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving competences Ability to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environment Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients locally and in EMEA region Excellent written/verbal communication skills with an emphasis on client service and presentation Fluency in English It would be a real bonus if you have ISTQB Certification or equivalent Experience with Avaloq banking system solution is a strong plus Experience of testing in agile context: (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing) French, German, Italian language skills We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
