What You'll Do Partnering closely with Cyber Security leadership, People & Culture teams, and stakeholders across Optus, you will be responsible for: Leading the Security Culture & Engagement function, developing and executing a holistic strategy to embed security awareness, behaviours, and accountability across the organisation. Designing and delivering innovative security awareness, education, and engagement programs that drive measurable improvements in security culture and risk reduction. Building and maintaining a security champions network, empowering advocates across business units to promote secure behaviours and practices. Developing targeted communications, campaigns, events, and learning experiences that engage diverse audiences and bring security concepts to life. Using data, insights, and behavioural metrics to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities, and continuously improve engagement outcomes. Partnering with cyber security, technology, risk, compliance, and business teams to ensure security culture initiatives align with organisational priorities and emerging threats. Driving the adoption of modern learning methodologies and digital engagement approaches, including gamification, simulations, storytelling, and AI-enabled learning experiences. Leading phishing simulation programs and awareness activities to strengthen organisational resilience against social engineering threats. Fostering a positive, inclusive, and proactive security culture where employees feel empowered to identify and respond to cyber risks. What You'll Bring Extensive experience in cyber security awareness, security culture, organisational change, communications, learning and development, or a related field. Proven success designing and delivering enterprise-wide engagement, education, or behavioural change programs. Strong understanding of cyber security threats, risks, and best practices, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging and accessible content. Experience using metrics, insights, and behavioural data to drive measurable improvement and demonstrate program value. Exceptional communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences, from frontline employees through to senior executives. Strategic mindset with strong execution capability and a focus on outcomes. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within complex organisations. Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, Communications, Education, Psychology, Organisational Change, Marketing, or related disciplines are highly regarded. The Good Stuff...
