Senior Unity Engineer
to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

About the role:
As a Senior Unity Engineer, become a long-term product engineering engagement to take full technical ownership. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously evolving a live application ecosystem, ensuring established products run seamlessly for end-users while driving incremental architecture improvements and feature delivery. This is a high-ownership position for a technically strong and self-driven professional who thrives in a complex, large-scale codebase environment.

You will join a long-term partnership focused on the maintenance and continuous evolution of a live application ecosystem for a leading Danish company — a globally loved brand creating products and experiences that inspire generations of children worldwide. Your mission is to ensure that established, active products run without downtime while incrementally optimising their architecture and delivering evolutionary feature updates.
This is a unique opportunity to work on products already in the hands of millions of end- users, directly shaping how the next generations of kids learn, play, and interact with technology.
Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of technical solutions, providing maintenance and support for the live product ecosystem to ensure seamless stability and uptime
Drive continuous evolution by refactoring existing architectures and addressing technical debt through incremental, modern technological updates
Ensure system health while delivering evolutionary feature updates and performance optimisations to keep established products active and competitive
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with product goals and end-user experience
Contribute proactively by sharing new ideas and proposing product improvements
Requirements:

Senior-level experience in Unity development
Strong knowledge of the C# programming language
Experienced at navigating and working within large, complex codebases
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Git version control
Experience with GitHub CI/CD workflows
Strong self-management skills and comfortable owning multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
Collaborative team player with a passion for clean, high-quality code
Desirable:
Experience with Docker
Experience with mobile-specific features and APIs — touch input handling, camera, Bluetooth communication, and push notifications
