Job Description About the Role NetOps Africa is recruiting a Senior Vibe Coding & AI Automation Specialist for a U.S.-based technology company providing advanced AI, automation, application development, and technical services to MSPs and their customers. This is a senior, hands-on vibe coding role focused on rapidly turning real business problems into working applications, internal tools, automations, and AI-enabled solutions using Claude and Claude Code . You will work directly with customers and technical teams to understand what they need, quickly build functional solutions, iterate based on real-world feedback, and take those solutions all the way into production. Speed is important, but so is finishing. The expectation is not simply to create prototypes or experiments. You must be able to deliver complete, deployed, documented, secure, and supportable applications that real businesses use. You will also build and support complex workflow automations, implement Claude across customer environments, integrate AI into existing business processes, and serve as a senior escalation resource when AI or automation solutions become difficult. This is not an entry-level development, prompt-engineering, or AI enthusiast role. Candidates must have personally built and shipped real applications or production automations using Claude or comparable AI-assisted development workflows. What You'll Do Vibe Code Real Solutions Use Claude Code as a primary development environment to rapidly build production-ready applications. Develop web applications, internal business tools, customer-facing applications, and focused micro-SaaS solutions. Turn business requirements, discovery conversations, or initial concepts into functioning solutions quickly. Rapidly prototype solutions while continuing through deployment, documentation, testing, and production support. Build complete applications including: Frontend Backend Databases Authentication APIs Hosting Error handling Deployment Build with the Claude API, including agents, tool use, integrations, prompts, and MCP servers. Develop mobile applications when the business problem is better suited to a mobile solution. Create applications that can be maintained and supported by other technical team members. Help establish development standards around technology stacks, repositories, deployment, documentation, security, and supportability. Build and Support Workflow Automation Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production automations. Work with automation platforms including: n8n Zapier Make Rewst Microsoft Power Automate Determine when an automation platform is appropriate and when custom development is the better solution. Integrate Claude and other AI capabilities into business workflows. Build AI-enabled workflows for use cases such as: Document processing Ticket triage Data extraction Classification Drafting Approvals Business process automation Troubleshoot complex or unreliable production automations. Support and repair automations originally developed by other engineers. Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions rather than temporary fixes. Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone processes that can be improved through automation. Develop Power Apps or Power BI solutions when appropriate for the customer's environment. Implement and Support Claude Help deploy Claude across multiple customer and MSP environments. Configure Claude around real business processes rather than generic demonstrations. Work with Claude Projects, Skills, connectors, MCP servers, connected resources, and related capabilities. Build reusable Claude configurations based on customer processes, documentation, and operating standards. Support end users with: Onboarding Training Troubleshooting Prompt development Workflow development AI adoption Help customers move from experimenting with AI to using it as part of their daily operations. Establish practical standards around AI governance, security, data boundaries, licensing, administration, and supportability. Consult, Scope and Deliver Meet directly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Run discovery sessions to understand business problems before recommending solutions. Translate business requirements into practical applications, automations, and AI-enabled workflows. Lead projects from discovery through: Scoping Architecture Development Testing Deployment Documentation Handoff Advise customers on AI strategy, automation platforms, technical architecture, licensing, and implementation approaches. Help develop repeatable SOPs, delivery standards, and productized technical services. Stay current with new Claude and AI development capabilities and apply them where they provide real business value. Requirements Required Experience Candidates must have: Demonstrable hands-on experience building real solutions with Claude . Strong practical experience using Claude Code for application development. Proven vibe coding experience using AI-assisted development to rapidly create working software. Experience taking applications beyond prototypes and deploying them into production. Full-stack development ability sufficient to deliver an application end to end. Experience working with: Frontend development Backend development Databases Authentication APIs Hosting and deployment Experience building with the Claude API, AI agents, tool use, integrations, MCP, or similar technologies. Senior-level experience designing and supporting production automations. Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: n8n Zapier Make Rewst Microsoft Power Automate Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Experience supporting solutions that you did not originally develop. Strong customer-facing communication skills. The ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical users and business owners. Strong written and spoken English. The ability to work independently across multiple projects and customer environments. The ability to take ownership of problems through resolution. Preferred Experience Previous experience working for or supporting an MSP. Experience operating across multiple customer environments. Claude Projects. Claude Skills. Claude Cowork. MCP server development. Mobile application development using technologies such as: React Native Flutter Swift Kotlin Microsoft 365 administration. Microsoft Power Platform. Power Apps. Power BI. Experience with other AI platforms and APIs such as: ChatGPT Codex OpenAI APIs Experience turning technical services into repeatable or productized offerings. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who builds and ships . The strongest candidates will be able to show real examples of applications, agents, automations, or tools they have personally developed using Claude. You should be comfortable explaining: What you built. Why it was built. How quickly you built it. Which parts you personally owned. What Claude or the AI tooling initially got wrong. How you corrected those problems. How the application was deployed. How it is currently supported. What you would do differently if you rebuilt it today. Personal use of ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar tools is not sufficient. Certifications, tutorials, prototypes, personal experiments, and prompt-engineering experience alone will not qualify someone for this senior-level position. At least one example of something they have personally built using Claude. A link, repository, demonstration, screenshot, or detailed explanation of a deployed application or automation. A brief explanation of an application they built using Claude, including: What the application does. What Claude initially got wrong. How they identified and corrected the issue. How the final solution was deployed. Remote Work Requirements Because this is a fully remote position, candidates must have a professional and reliable home working environment. Candidates must have: A reliable fiber internet connection of at least 100 Mbps . A reliable backup power solution capable of supporting their workstation and internet connection during power outages. A suitable personal computer for professional use. A minimum Intel Core i5 processor or equivalent . A minimum of 8 GB RAM , with 16 GB or more preferred for this role. A computer that is generally less than five years old and capable of comfortably running the tools required for the position. A professional noise-cancelling headset . A quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for customer calls and video meetings. A webcam and reliable audio setup. The ability to work consistently during the required U.S.-aligned working schedule.
