About the role A Senior Video Editor is a craft leader responsible for delivering consistently high-quality, platform-native edits that can be trusted for high-visibility client work. They are expected to demonstrate strong editorial judgment, particularly in pacing, structure, and opening impact, while delivering edits tailored to platform-specific audiences. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in cutting-edge NLE software with particular expertise in TikTok's platform dynamics and editing style. They must excel at mentoring junior editors, implementing quality control standards, and producing visually stunning content where narrative excellence remains the priority in every project. What you'll do Edit high-quality video content using industry-leading software including Adobe Creative Cloud Applications, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut Execute and elevate briefs through strong editorial decisions, ensuring content is engaging, well-paced, and platform-appropriate. Demonstrates strong knowledge of social media delivery specifications, with particular attention to opening impact, pacing, and platform-native editing for TikTok. Maintains high technical standards, clean file management, and efficient workflows to support consistent delivery. Builds storytelling abilities with potential for growth through increased exposure to diverse project briefs Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques to continuously improve skills with a keen interest in internet culture, pop culture, music, memes, and various video genres Act as a quality benchmark for the team by mentoring junior editors, reviewing work where required, and helping uphold consistent creative standards. Demonstrates initiative through continuous skill development and proactive contribution to team quality and standards. Collaborates effectively with producers and creatives, contributing beyond assigned tasks when it improves project outcomes. Communicates effectively within immediate team environment Develops external stakeholder communication skills as needed Qualifications 3-5 years of proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative storytelling abilities Strong motion graphics skills that support storytelling and enhance clarity without distracting from the narrative. Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Capcut Particular expertise in TikTok's platform dynamics and editing style Experience with both offline and online video editing workflows Communicates clearly with internal stakeholders and producers, incorporating feedback accurately and supporting smooth client delivery when required. Strong internal communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, provide clear project updates, and contribute to a positive team environment Familiar with Mac operating systems (Windows is a plus) Fluent in English with fantastic verbal and written communication skills Willingness to travel for work-related assignments
