Senior WordPress VIP Developer

Date: Jul 8, 2026 Location: Req ID: 36860 Work Mode: Remote India We are seeking a seasoned, Senior WordPress VIP Developer whose core expertise lies in WordPress (VIP Go platform) to develop, maintain, and optimize the Gainwell corporate website. As a secondary responsibility , this role will also build and manage high-converting landing pages on HubSpot CMS to support paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Demandbase, Influ2, and other channels. You will be the technical backbone of our web presence — collaborating with marketing, design, campaign, and MarTech teams to deliver a fast, secure, accessible, and conversion-optimized web experience. As a senior contributor, you will also bring strategic thinking, mentorship, and architectural leadership to the team This role is strictly involved in business analysis, requirements documentation, and healthcare reference data support activities and does not involve direct access to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or any secured or confidential client data. The work is limited to analysis of healthcare claims, reference code sets, and system configurations using governed datasets and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health or personal information Your role in our mission: Core: Website Development & Maintenance (WordPress VIP) • Own end-to-end development, maintenance, and enhancement of the corporate website on the WordPress VIP platform • Architect and build custom Gutenberg blocks, themes, and plugins aligned with VIP code standards • Manage VIP CLI deployments, Git-based workflows, and code reviews • Ensure security, uptime, performance, and compliance with WordPress VIP best practices • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with WordPress VIP support • Provide architectural guidance for scalability and long-term platform health • Lead website migrations, redesigns, and platform upgrades as needed • Continuously optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO health 🔹 Secondary: Landing Page Development (HubSpot CMS) • Build conversion-optimized landing pages on HubSpot CMS for paid campaigns (LinkedIn, Demandbase, Influ2) • Develop custom HubSpot templates and modules using HubL • Leverage HubDB for dynamic content where required • Implement A/B testing, smart content, and form integrations • Ensure seamless integration with HubSpot workflows, and tracking pixels 🔹 Performance, SEO & Analytics • Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) across the website and landing pages • Implement technical SEO best practices (schema, sitemaps, canonical tags, meta) • Configure and maintain Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console • Set up UTM tracking, conversion tracking, and marketing pixels (LinkedIn Insight Tag, Demandbase tag, Meta Pixel) 🔹 Frontend Development & UX (Nice to have) • Translate Figma / Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code • Ensure WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance • Deliver cross-browser and mobile-first experiences • Enforce adherence to Gainwell brand guidelines 🔹 Collaboration, Leadership & Process • Partner with Design, Campaign Managers, MarTech, and SEO teams • Support marketing team with rapid landing page turnarounds (24–48 hours) for paid campaigns • Mentor junior developers and establish best practices across the team • Document code, workflows, and deployment processes • Maintain staging → production discipline and version control (Git) • Drive process improvements and technology roadmap recommendations What we're looking for: Core Expertise – WordPress VIP (Must-Have) • 10+ years of professional web development experience with strong focus on WordPress • 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress VIP Go platform (not just WordPress.org / .com) • Expert-level proficiency in PHP 8.x and modern WordPress architecture • Deep experience with Gutenberg block development (React-based custom blocks) • Proven track record of building custom WordPress themes, plugins, and REST APIs • Strong understanding of VIP code review standards, security, and performance guidelines • Experience with VIP CLI, VIP Dashboard, VIP Cache, and Elasticsearch integration • Demonstrable history of WordPress migrations, redesigns, or platform upgrades Secondary Expertise – HubSpot CMS (Must-Have) • 2+ years of experience with HubSpot CMS, including HubL and custom module development • Working knowledge of HubDB, HubSpot templates, and form integrations • Experience building landing pages for paid campaigns General Technical Skills • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS • Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals optimization and technical SEO • Proficiency with Git, GitHub/Bitbucket, and CI/CD workflows • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and marketing pixels • Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards • Proven ability to mentor developers and lead technical initiatives • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications • Experience in B2B enterprise marketing websites (healthcare, government, or technology sectors preferred) • Understanding of UI/UX principles for conversion optimization • Experience with AWS, Cloudflare, or CDN configurations • Contributions to the WordPress open-source community (plugins, core, meetups) What you should expect in this role : Remote work environment Shift time - 2pm -11pm IST
